As an excellent improviser, Andy is at his best as an upfront soloist, playing Blues, Funk, Jazz and Soul, but also because of his reading ability, he is more than able to play in various ensembles, working in sections, backing cabarets, playing popular music, shows etc. Andy also recites solo work by a variety of composers from Mozart to Kenny G, on either Flute or Soprano Sax for weddings, and other special occasions. This is an alternative to the obligatory organ, and has proved more than popular with the public. He has worked extensively on the music scene worldwide, and has supported in concert George Benson, Carl Perkins, and Barry White to name just a few. He has also backed in cabaret The Beverly Sisters, Little And Large, Russ Abbott, the great opera singer Edmund Hockeridge, and many more familiar faces of stage and screen. Andy has completed extensive tours of Clubs, Holiday Camps, Pubs, and Military Bases nationwide. With over 12 summer seasons under his belt, 4 long contracts on world wide cruise lines, and a year residency in Dubai, working for HRH Sheik Mohammed exclusively, he is a valuble asset to any band.
