The Black Bull, Aughton

Situated in the centre of the village of Aughton, south east of Sheffield you will find "The Black Bull" specialising in entertainment and food. There is entertainment on every night, plus the restaurant serving food every lunchtime and every night except Sunday. You will receive a warm welcome from Colin and all his staff.



Monday night is General Knowledge Quiz night at 9.30 with cash prizes that have reached up to £500.

Tuesday night is Busker's night from 9.00 hosted by Martin from The Rogues

Wednesday night is "Quizzaoke" with Jimmy Jones" - as you would expect, a quiz plus karaoke and open the box with cash prizes of up to £500.

Thursday night is "Elvis 'n' Cash" featuring Nial Howard as Elvis and Tom Collins as Johnny Cash -a great nights entertainment from 9.00 til 11.30.

Friday night is Quiz night with Open the Box and also you will find the occasional Live Entertainment, so keep an eye on the events page for some extra special evenings.

Saturday night is Karaoke night with your host Gary from 9.00 so come along for an entertaining evening.

Sunday you will find early bar Live entertainment - normally a band, finishing around 9.30 to round off your weekend at The Black Bull



Also you will find all the Live sports you need on big screens in both bars, including all the live Premiership games, plus the usual quiz and gaming machines.



The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday 
from 12 til 2.30 and again from 5 til 8.
All food is home made and all veg is fresh plus "proper chips"
To avoid disappointment you should always try to book.
The menu is very wide ranging and includes grills, chicken, fish and pies plus a specials board.
There is a "meal deal" which includes a main course and sweet for £6 or two mains for £8.
Sunday is Sunday lunch only, serving from 12 til 5
You have a choice of a Large meal for £6.50 or a small meal (not child's) for £4.50
or the meal deal again with 2 courses large £8.50 or small £6.50



In addition if you are looking for a private party there is a function room available at negotiable rates, there is also Bed and Breakfast accommodation available from £29 per person per night.
