The Broadfield

Built around 1896 by Albert Twigg.
His son William, coined the phrase "The Odd Life Bar", which is simply an anagram of The Broadfield.

At last Live Music is back at The Broadfield with Rock bands on a Friday night from around 9.
Every other Saturday you will find a Blues or Punk band for your entertainment.

Sunday night you will be entertained or can entertain others with an acoustic open mic night please take along your instruments and enjoy an evening hosted by Tim and Justin all styles welcome, if nobody else wants to get up they will be happy to entertain all night.

Every other Monday night is Karaoke night hosted by Landlord Jon, so don't be shy come on down and enjoy yourself and sing your favourite songs.

Tuesday is your weekly Music Quiz, not just a music Quiz but a picture round and name that tune as well.

Wednesday night is Sports night with live TV sports on the many large screen TV's in both bars.

Thursday night is a General Knowledge Quiz with prizes for first and second plus a booby prize for the lowest score ending with "Play Your Cards Right" with a cash Jackpot which has been known to reach £100.

Food is served Monday - Friday 12 til 3 then 5 til 8

Saturday & Sunday 12 til 7

The Broadfield always has some very good food deals
such as 2 meals for £8
Sunday Lunch only £5.95 with a choice of roasts
A lunchtime "Meal Deal" for only £3.95 including a soft drink

Finally children are welcome at The Broadfield until 9 and outside you a large beer garden with a fabulous outdoor smoking solution, where you can stay both warm and dry.
