Drive South Duo

The cool sounds of the Drive South Duo set the ideal mood for jazz restaurants, cocktail lounges, weddings, private functions and corporate events.

Drive South perform when the superb vocalist Sally Glennon and Keyboard maestro JBlack get together.

Sally tours the UK with her own band and has recorded three albums, heard on many radio shows in the UK and all over the world.

JBlack is in great demand as a session player, and is currently touring UK Theatres with the “Real Diamond” tribute show, and is performing live with Dave Berry and the Cruisers, and the Kahunas Rock Band.

But it is with the Drive South Duo that they both get the chance to fully express themselves with a mixture of cool sophisticated jazz standards, swing and bossanova favourites, as well as R&B and Rock and Roll.

Please listen to the attached Sample of their work, which was recorded totally live at the Walnut Club in Hathersage, showing Sally’s pure voice and JBlack’s unique capability to play both bass and piano on his Keyboard.

Rhythm sequences can be added to their sound to give a full band effect, or indeed other musicians can be added for a trio, quartet or even a full 6 piece function band.
