Below is a list of entertainment events in the South Yorkshire entertainment guide area, be it a disco, live band, duo, solo artist, comedian, karaoke or show at a theatre.

Fright Night’s Little Brother

Fright Night’s Little Brother takes place on The Moor, Sheffield each year on the same day as Fright Night (Britain’s biggest Halloween Carnival, City Centre 3.30 pm - 8.30pm). Fright Night’s Little Brother is aimed at younger children and this year’s event will take place on Sunday 28th October 2012 from 12-3pm.

Past attractions include a Dalek, a Titan Robot, Uncle Fester on his moving piano, stilt walkers, a pumpkin parlour, fire engines, children’s activities & competitions, face painting, temporary tattoos, children’s funfair rides/stalls & a giant inflatable Frankenstein.

NB A full list of attractions for 2012 will be available from July 2012.

Time: 12 pm until 3 pm

After Dark, Yorkshire's biggest firework spectacular!
After Dark, Yorkshire's biggest firework spectacular!

Each year on the 5th of November the event plays host to a whopping 20,000 spectators. The show includes: giant fun fair, a bonfire, food stalls, a live music stage with Real Radio and of course the legendary fireworks display set off to music!

Program of events:
5.30pm – Opening
7.00pm – Bonfire lit
8.45pm – Fireworks set off to music
10.00pm – Event closes

Adults (14+) - £10
Children - £5
Under 3’s – free

Tickets are available from Sheffield Arena, City Hall, USUS & Hallam University Unions.

Note: Tickets also available on the day from Sheffield Arena (next to the event), & at the entrance to Ice Sheffield (cash only).

Car parking at Sheffield Arena (next door). Don Valley Grass Bowl can also be accessed via Supertram. The Arena/Don Valley Stadium stop is located just a stone’s throw from the event site. More trams are provided on the night of the After Dark event.

The event is staged at the purpose built Don Valley Grass Bowl which is easily accessible from junction 34 of the M1.
