Take The Seven (formerly known as FreeFold) are a 5-piece rock/post-hardcore band based around Chesterfield, N. Derbyshire and Sheffield, S. Yorkshire with a distinctive style, sound and show.

We are currently in the process of recording a debut 5-track EP with our good friend Graeme Atkinson at the Vault Studio, Sheffield. The EP shall be fully completed in the next month, and in the mean time, each new track as it is completed shall be uploaded to hear on our myspace - 3 tracks are already up!

Whilst we record we continue to write more original material and will be playing a whole host of live shows throughout the country - try to catch us at one!

Last year we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to support American post-hardcore quintet Senses Fail at the Sheffield O2 Academy during their UK tour and consider it our greatest achievement to date. We would like to thank everybody for their support in making that possible for us, but also for the support everybody continually shows us.

We hope you’re all as excited as we are for the future and look forward to seeing you at a show sometime soon!
