You will find George IV on Infirmary Road in Sheffield so easy access by super tram as well as the usual means of transport.
The pub is a large venue with 2 bars downstairs and an excellent function room upstairs with its own bar, dancefloor, lighting and evn has a sepertae entrance if you wish to hire it for a private party or event.

There is something going on most nights at George IV.

Monday night is pool night downstairs in the back bar

Wednesday night is Folk night upstairs in the function room there is sometimes a charge for this event

Friday night is Karaoke and Disco downstairs in the Main Bar

Saturdays do have Live entertainment but check the events for who and when

Sunday night you will find a music quiz, bingo and Play Your Cards Right from 9

The George IV is a typical locals and community pub catering for all ages, Rachael and Danny have a warm welcome for everybody, for the real ale fans there is treat in store with 8 different ales wich change round on a regular basis they even have a George IV Imperial Ale brewed for them by Wentworth Brewery at the time of my visit was only a staggering £1.70 per pint (July '08) which makes one of the best value pubs in Sheffield.
