The Midland

Julie, Paul and the team offer you a warm welcome to the Midland

We offer a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in our recently refurbished bar area which offers Lounge-bar style furniture and a welcoming log fire so that you can sit back and enjoy all the entertainment we have to offer.

We have a large cinema style screen which offers the latest Sky Sports action and Music Channel entertainment, these programmes are also available on smaller screens throughout the bar area including the pool room

Games and quiz machines are also available for your entertainment

Regluar events at the Midland include:

Monday night is free pool night.

The first Wednesday of each month is rock night featuring high quality local rock covers bands.

All other wednesday's, we hold a Wii night, come and join in the fun!

Thursday night is jam night hosted by Brian Wood and Joe and James Tulley who get the night started and then invite the audience to get up and have a go, you can use their equipment or bring your own, this is a really special night at the Midland.

The Guys also organise a special rock night on Thursdays from time to time featuring special guest artists, look out for the posters, this also is not a night to be missed.

Saturdays are a mixture of live bands and Karaokes see the gig guide at the top of the page for a full list

Food is now available at the Midland:

On Saturdays, hot roast pork sandwiches are available at £2.00 and chip butties at £1.50
On Sundays we offer a traditional roast dinner for just £5.50 or £3.50 for the smaller apetite (the roast of the day will vary each week)
We can also cater for your special occasions - Birthday's, Christenings, anniversaries etc, just ask at the bar for details.

Pool and darts are available in the games room for your enjoyment.

Supervised children are always welcome at the Midland where you will find a large beer garden and play area which also has a bouncy castle weather permitting.
