Description Please if you visit this venue tell them you found it on South Yorkshire Entertainment.com The New Inn and Ambers Restaurant The New Inn and Ambers restaurant is situated on the corner of Hemsworth Road and Ashbury Lane, and is a very popular venue for for Live Rock music on Friday evenings.  There is also live music every Saturday and on one Sunday per month. On Saturday night it is the turn for either a solo artist or a duo to perform.  Also, on one Sunday in every month, top international Pop Reggae Artist, Irie White, performs from 5 pm. Thursday night is Open Mic Night so take your discs or instrument along to entertain, hosted by Andrew Spivey from 9.30 pm. Amber's Restaurant specialises in Home Cooked Food with very reasonably priced meals, including Daily specials and Sunday Roast. For that very special occasion for parties of 4 or more, you can have a Carvery at your table (Must be booked at least 24 hrs in advance) The open plan bar has a pool table plus Fruit and Quiz machines, also a Juke box and large plasma screen TV showing terrestrial TV sport at times. The bar has a large range of wines available, and a guest cask beer which is changed on a weekly basis. a visit here is thoroughly recommended
