Description

The Rapids are a must see band that will have you Rock n Rollin the night away.
Their repertoire is built upon the foundation of the ‘Mersey Beat’ scene of the early to mid sixties.
Covering hits by the greats such as The Searchers, Beatles, Cliff Richard & the Shadows, Eddie Cochran and Chuck Berry to name a few, The Rapids reproduce a truly authentic sound of the 60s with the look and the moves to boot.
The lead vocal is complemented superbly by the harmonies of the bass and lead guitarists, including a fantastic solo vocal by the bass player of Chuck Berry’s ‘No Particular Place to Go.’
The show is packed with foot tapping hits from the very start, with songs such as ‘Every Time That You Walk in the Room’, ’ Needles and Pins’ and ‘Be Bop A Lula’, through to a rip roaring version of the Shadows’ instrumental hit, ‘FBI’ just before the break.
And it doesn’t end there! The second set is a non-stop celebration of rock’n’roll hits to have you dancing on your feet (and sometimes on the tables!)
