Rudi's Blues Cafe

Situated in Rotherham Town Centre on Corporation Street is one of South Yorkshire's secret venues. Underneath the unmistakeable neon sign over the door you will find the entrance taking you downstairs to an amazing Blues and Classic Rock experience.

Rudi’s Blues Cafe is run by Rudi Enos and Joe Dudziak. Rudi and Joe are both in local bands and have been for many years. Music forms the core of their business but hospitality to customers is the first priority. There isn't a dress code but they do have a behaviour code. There is always a warm welcome to customers and friends both new and old. Rudi's Blues Cafe is a relaxed and comfortable laid back venue, different from all the other Live venues in Rotherham.

Your Live entertainment week is as follows.

Wednesday is Karaoke night with Freak Show Bob who is holding a FREE TO ENTER karaoke competition with weekly heats leading to a Grand Final with a prize of £500 and a holiday in Tenerife.

Thursday is Rudi's creative night with acoustic blues, folk and original songs plus poetry, storytellers and open mic depending on the guest artist's wishes, it's sure to be different every week.

Friday night is Live Band night with some great bands appearing - there may be an admission charge so check our events guide for details.

Saturday again is Live Band night but generally speaking admission is free on Saturdays - check the events guide for who and when.

On Sunday the Cafe is open from 12 til 5 were you will find Rudi and friends appearing with some special guests from time to time.

If you like Blues and Classic Rock you are bound to have a great time whenever you visit Rudi's.

Food is available at Rudi's whenever they are open, and although they do not call themselves a restaurant, they do serve superb food, including Aberdeen Angus Steaks, Real Burgers, Veggie Burgers served with real chips and if you wish, a choice of sauce for your steak. Also a Pot dish usually Chilli, Ghoulash or Irish Stew. For those not wishing to over indulge there are Toasties to nibble on. To round off the evening late night snacks are available to combat the inevitable attack of the munchies!

In addition, Rudi's is available for private parties when catering can be up to Black Tie standards depending on your needs, also it can be used for meetings during the day at times to suit you.
