Wortley Folk Club

Get together on a regular basis mailnly at The Black Bull, Ecclesfield. They start at 8.15pm on each 3rd Saturday of the month, except in August when they take a break for holidays.

The folk club operates as a guest only club, which means they have a professional/semi professional guest,duo,band etc, which means that there will always be an admittance fee charged (usually minimum of £6).

The night is usually started by local/regular club members for about 30 minutes or so.

The room is upstairs at the Black Bull and seats around 70 people. The room has good acoustics, with no noise from the bar below, and sometimes artists will use their own pa system.

Events also take place at The Academy Theatre, Birdwell.
